With the Concealed Heating element built in to the bottom, handy illuminated on/off switch, and the stainless steel valve for draining, makes this 8 gallon stainless steel kettle the perfect maple syrup evaporator! Originally Designed for Brewing and distilling but its the perfect solution for evaporating maple syrup whether you are just getting started or looking to simplify your process. The DigiBoil electric kettle can serve a surprisingly wide range of functions.

It's perfect as a Honey bottling heater and even for Beer Brewing 5-gallon batches, preheating strike or sparge water, and with the addition of a still top lid and condenser, it can be used for home distilling, water purifying and even essential oil making. This model runs off 110v power and has dual heating elements (1000w and 600w) that can be controlled independently. Includes 304 stainless steel 1/2 ball valve with 13mm barb approx.

Stamped-in volume markers (gallons & liters). Temperature reads in °F or °C. We also have these in 220V 2400Watt, and in large 65L (17 gallon) 220V, 2400 Watt versions.
