ByJohn on October 19, 2016. Everything on it works as advertised and has held up so far. Noticed that it doesn't like you to stay on the pedal too long, or it will go into the 5 minute open mode.

Just a light tap, then get out of there and it works beautifully. An unexpected bonus was the efficiency of the activated charcoal filter system in the lid. She loved it and so did her family. Easy to install and works perfectly. I have even tried it several times when I went to visit. Like this product a lot although some of my trash bags don't fit so you have to have the right ones. The 3 different foot taps are cool but the one in the front is really the only one I use. So far this is working well. It is short enough that it doesn't open and dent on my door handles. It did come with a small dent and it is make of paper thin metal so will continue to dent easily. It does work fine and the dogs have yet to figure out how to open it.

By Frederick Boudreaux on March 20, 2016. Really like this can, works well and it matches all my kitchen appliances. Other cans I owned had a plastic insert with a handle inside to pull out. Will get use to this set up with just a rim to hold garbage bag in place.
